Improving Baton rouge
Forum 35 held its 17th annual Viva il Vino on November 19 in downtown Baton Rouge. Viva il Vino is
one of many development events that enables members to make a substantial impact on both their lives and
the lives of those in the community. This year's event saw an attendance of over 120 and included a variety
of wines and paired entrees, a silent auction and a wine pull worth over $2,000.
In addition to the unveiling of Forum 35's 2016–2018 Strategic Plan (available at http://forum35.org), a
special presentation honoring the recipients of the Baton Rouge Original Award, the Art Melt Louisiana Art
Legend Award and the Corporate Member of the Year Award took place during the evening's events at
Lin Emery, 2015's Art Melt Louisiana Art Legend Award recipient, has been working as a kinetic sculptor
since the 1960s. Throughout her career, she has broken new ground for women artists, particularly for those
who produce large-scale sculptures.
