54 Celebrate Summer! Nobody does landscaping quite like Baton Rouge landscape architect Ed Jenkins! Since establishing his landscaping business in 1978, Jenkins has created countless masterpieces in/around the Greater Baton Rouge area; from luxurious patios and custom pools to down-to-Earth outdoor nooks and gardens, or an eclectic mix of both, he has helped hundreds of homeowners and fellow business owners turn their wishes into reality. His other expertise includes, but is not limited to, entrances, walkways, planters, spas, outdoor kitchens, courtyards, fences and more. In addition to being a long-time resident of the Capital City and a LSU Alum—he earned a Bachelor's of Science in Landscape Architecture in 1970—he has a proven commitment to the environment and customer satisfaction. He specifies, "as an environmentalist, I am deeply concerned with the development of a landscape design which will respect and enhance the natural beauty of your property". Interested in enhancing the "natural beauty" your home or business? He is ready to work with you to create the design which makes the most creative and efficient use of your property. Schedule a free consultation with him today or learn more about how he can help you at This is an example of a more casual, eclectic style of architecture that works well with the house, complete with the addition of a fire pit for the family to enjoy. This pool with a spa and water feature is the most prominent area of this project. Space was limited and the owners wanted to be able to sit on their wood deck in the backyard and enjoy the view of the pool/fountain area. This relatively small cocktail pool also serves as a large spa and overgrown fountain. It enhances the back of the home with a beautiful water feature viewed from the rear porch. r e A d u S O N L I N e A t w w w . C I t y S O C I A L . C O m
