Good Cause If you love food & drink: Zapp's International Beer Fest – March 30 – Rural Life Museum The annual Zapp's International Beerfest will have more than 200 foreign and domestic beers, ales and homebrews will be made available for tasting during this popular annual event benefiting the LSU Rural Life Museum. This fun filled afternoon is for patrons aged 21 years and older. Proper I.D. must be presented upon entering the event. Soul Food Festival – May 25-26 – North Boulevard Town Square The Baton Rouge Soul Food Festival is two days of fabulous Southern Cuisine, live music on two stages, a Vendor's Village, a judged Soul Food Cooking Competition and a Pioneer Award for culinary excellence. The family-friendly event is free to the public. Lawn seating is available, so bring your chairs! If you love art, culture and community: Ebb & Flow – April 6-7 – Baton Rouge Riverfront Celebrate the capital region's cultural, economic and ecological connection to the Mississippi River and all things that EBB & FLOW! This will be Ebb & Flow Festival's third year in Downtown Baton Rouge. Pride Fest – June 15 – Raising Cane's River Center BR Pride Fest is the largest family-friendly indoor GLBTQ pride celebration in the South. This year features entertainment like no other, including an ArtsFest, Resource Fair, Children's Area and more. Pride Fest features a mix of education about health and wellness, with entertainment and fun activities that'll draw people from all walks of life! If you love music: Bayou Country Superfest – May 25-26 – LSU's Tiger Stadium Tiger Stadium will once again host the Memorial Day Weekend Country Music Festival for its 10th Anniversary. Show your love of country music alongside neighbors, family and friends! This year's festival will be held for two days, Saturday May 25 and Sunday May 26, 2019. Blues Fest – April 13-14 – North Boulevard Town Square This free, family-friendly festival will feature an impressive lineup of internationally-recognized performers and local blues legends. Bring your dancing shoes! Third Street Songwriters Festival – April 5-7 – Various Locations The Third Street Songwriter's Festival is an annual event in Downtown Baton Rouge at multiple venues along 3rd Street featuring live, original music. The event showcases local, regional and national songwriters.
