Runnels Junior High student Isabelle McCall played a piano duet with actor Robert Pattinson in the multi-million dollar box office sensation, Breaking Dawn-Part 2. And she did some of it from underneath the piano. The math students at Runnels Elementary School raised $6,485 in donations this fall for the annual St. Jude Research Hospital's Math-A-Thon. Top fund-raisers at Runnels School are Lauren Bhat, Eddie Tunis, Hannah Page, and Andrew Page with elementary math teacher and program sponsor Christine Pousson. At the National Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds 2012 Outdoor Hospitality & Expo Conference in Las Vegas are Toni Nezat, and Lisa Thibodaux. At the Krewe Mystique de la Capitale annual King's party held at the Camelot Club and hosted by KM King Kevin Kimball are Kevin Kimball (King Mystique) Jessica Kennedy (Queen Mystique) Nona Brouillette (Ball Captain), and Kris Cangelosi (Honors Chairwoman). Sarah Holliday, President of Capital City Republican Women 2010-2012 was 2012 recipient of the Leadership and Courage Award from the members and officers of CCRW. At the National Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds 2012 Outdoor Hospitality & Expo Conference in Las Vegas are Lisa Thibodaux, and Mary and Tom Baehr. Thirteen LSU seniors received University Medals for graduating with the highest undergraduate grade-point averages as part of LSU's 279th commencement exercises. PEO (Philanthropy Education Organization) Chapter E members Emily Wascome, Carol Evans, McCarney and Sharon Wilson collected donations for the shelter as part of their holiday philanthropy project. Ochsner Medical Center - Baton Rouge nurses recently showcased ten evidence-based practice research projects during the hospital's first-ever Research Poster Day.
