The LSU Museum of Art has named Lucy Perera the new coordinator of school and community programs, effective Jan. 7, 2013. Perera comes to the LSU Museum of Art after serving as the curator of education and public programs at the Harwood Museum of Art in Taos, N.M., since 2006. Ochsner Health System has named Eric McMillen Chief Executive Officer of the system's Greater Baton Rouge locations. McMillen had been serving as Interim Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer since former CEO Mitch Wasden resigned for another position this summer. At the School of Kinesiology Scholarship Award reception and ceremonies are Mr. Harb, Emily Harb (scholarship winner), and Dee Harb. Investar Bank today announced that Holly A. Hidalgo-DeKeyzer, a career banker with extensive experience serving southeast Louisiana clients and leading growing organizations, has been named regional president for Baton Rouge, the bank's largest market. David and Tara Weinstein, event hosts, Melissa Curry, Woman's Hospital event coordinator, and Kathy Adamek, winner of the Sahlia Staib painting, together at the "Cocktails & Art" private art showcase featuring paintings by Saliha Staib and benefiting Woman's Hospital's community programs such as the Human Donor Milk program. At the High School Engineering Program (HSEP) Fundraising Breakfast held at Scotlandville Magnet High School, are Edgar Blevins Earl Kern Thomassina Joseph, Amy Schulze, Mike Todd Errin Combest Nick Clausi, Beatrice Arvie, Raynaud Henton, Brian St.George, Melissa Dotson, James Horton, Kenneth Jefferson and Eddie Williams. Scotlandville Magnet High School's Engineering Program and Academy raised about $17,000 from local business representatives.
