The Krewe of Iduna Recently held a party in honor of their 2013 pages at the home of Roxanne Voorhies. At the Krewe of Iduna's annual New Member Dinner at the home of member, Fern Loupe Martha Rosenthal, Kaye Guelfo, Allison Kurpius, Stephanie Ragsdale, Alyson McCain, Sarah Martinez, Robin Ethridge, Jennifer Machen, and Fern Loupe. At the Baton Rouge Art League's Holiday Luncheon at Juban's are members Cynthia Campbell, Evelyn Brown and Cheramie Sonnier. Three East Baton Rouge Parish School System students, one at each level, have been chosen by judges to move on to the national level of the 2013 Magnet Schools of America's 7th Annual National Best of Show. Louisiana Photographic Society Photographers of the Year in 2012 are Gene Bachman for black and white; Kathy Reeves for digital projection level A; Cathy Smart for digital projection level B; and Renee Pierce for color prints level B. Reeves also won overall photographer of the year. Magnet Schools Poster Contest. This year's theme is "Magnet Schools Transforming America Today for a Stronger Tomorrow," and first-place winners at the district level will compete at the National Conference on Magnet Schools in Tulsa this May, where the top national winners will be recognized.
