17 Responsive Websites: Mobile devices are a prominent part of our daily lives. Consumers are spending more time than ever surfing the web from their phones or tablets, so viewing a website via a mobile device is often a customer's first interaction with a brand. One way to foster a memorable first impression is by making sure your website is responsive or "mobile-friendly". Having a responsive website will ensure that navigating a site on a smaller screen is easy and intuitive. It also ensures that the site will receive a mobile friendly ranking from search engines like Google and Yahoo. Search Engine Optimization (SEO): The amount of data and information made available via the web increases by the minute. This constant upload of new information creates a challenge of how to best capture a specific target audience. Websites are not simply about aesthetics, but rather the way information is formatted and presented. Both content and programming done behind the scenes can affect how easily a customer finds a website. Updating the site with relevant content and fresh images has proven to boost organic traffic. Social Media: With social media platforms constantly evolving, knowing how to manage the various channels can become overwhelming. So, would it be easier to just ignore social media completely? The answer is no. Social media is a huge component of increasing brand awareness. It not only provides a platform to directly connect with followers, but creates a flow of the brand's personality to its target audience. Generating consistent and clever posts are ways to keep followers engaged. Start with selecting one platform that best aligns with your main objectives and commit to posting at least once a week. Don't forget—social media is about community, and communities aren't built overnight. Need help navigating the world of social and web marketing?
