Eric Reid Invitational
Eric Reid, former LSU Tiger and member of the San Francisco 49ers, will
host a golf tournament for the Baton Rouge Sickle Cell Anemia Foundation.
The golf tournament and a silent auction will be held on Friday, May 5 at
Pelican Point, 6300 Championship Court in Gonzales. Lunch will be at 11:00
a.m. and tee time will be at 12:00 p.m.
The Baton Rouge Sickle Cell Anemia Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit
organization that has been in existence for 43 years. They serve nearly 600
clients with sickle cell disease in an 11-parish service area. For more infor-

CASA Carnival
The LSU chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta will host its CASA Carnival
fundraiser to support Capital Area CASA's advocacy efforts on behalf of
abused children. The event will be held March 31 from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at
the sorority house, 4030 West Lakeshore Drive. CASA Carnival will feature
Louisiana cuisine, carnival games, a dunk booth, face painting, and live
music.
CASA is Kappa Alpha Theta's national philanthropy; the LSU chapter
hosts an event each spring to support Capital Area CASA Association.
