C o M Finding the Fountain of Youth: 5 Secrets to Staying Young Every woman desires to stay young and beautiful for a very long period of time—their whole life, really. I know that is my desire. Many researchers and scientists have conducted studies within the beauty industry and found several important "rules" that we should follow in order to stay beautiful for a longer period. Let's talk about 5 secrets to youth, beauty and health: Lose the muffin top People often develop the habit of eating 3 big meals a day; when you desire to lose weight, though, it's better to develop appropriate habits of eating—try to eat smaller portions, but more often than only 3 times a day. This will boost your metabolism and it will be a lot easier to maintain your great figure. The ideal way of eating is to eat about 5 or 6 times a day, but smaller portions. And, I mean smaller portions. Another easy trick to losing the muffin top is to drink one glass of water before or after you eat, depending on your preference. Water will fill in the space in your tummy and you will feel satisfied without overeating, and your body will stay very hydrated! Hydrate and moisturize your skin daily There are so many products on the market now that can help you to nurture and hydrate your skin. If you are sensitive to cosmetic creams, you can also use fully natural products such as rose hip oil, argan oil, sweet almond oil, etc. I personally love using all of the above oils (mixed together) instead of creams and serums. Another great way to hydrate your skin throughout the day is to spray a refreshing face mist regularly on your face. But the main point here is to take care of your skin daily and never leave it dehydrated or lacking moisture. Pour yourself some merlot Nutritionists say that red wine has a number of potential health benefits when consumed in moderation. The merlot varietal contains several vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. Alcohol in general is also thought to raise good cholesterol, reduce blood clot formation and prevent artery damage when consumed in moderation. Moderate alcohol consumption may also reduce risk of stroke, heart attack, diabetes and gallstones. Merlot also contains small amounts of thiamin, riboflavin, niacin and vitamin B6. Make love Women who enjoy sex live longer, says Mehmet Oz, MD, a professor at New York Presbyterian–Columbia University. In fact, he adds, "doubling your amount of satisfying sex can add up to 3 years to your life." A great and healthy love life can also help you to stay beautiful and young for a long time. While making love with your partner, your body cultivates the "hormone of happiness" which not only strengthens your immune system and boosts your happiness, but also helps you stay younger for longer.
