In that spirit, we've outlined some of the upcoming outdoor festivals in Baton Rouge that you don't want to miss this spring! F O r M US i C L OVE r S Baton r ouge Blues Festival – April 14-15, 2018 This family-friendly music festival in Downtown Baton Rouge honors the music of our city–the blues. It's one of the oldest blues festivals in the U.S. and its 2018 lineup is set to be announced soon. 3rd Street Songwriters Festival – April 20-22, 2018 The writers behind the words of the songs you hear on the radio make their way to Baton Rouge for the Third Street Songwriters Festival. The annual event features local, regional and national songwriters who showcase both their hits and current works. Can't get enough music? Weekly outdoor concerts like Live After Five downtown, Rock N Rowe at Perkins Rowe and Sunday in the Park at Repentance Park start in the spring, as well. F O r F OOD i ES Zapp's i nternational Beer Festival – April 14, 2018 The annual Zapp's Beer Fest will have more than 200 foreign and domestic beers, ales and homebrews that will be available for tasting during this popular annual event benefiting the LSU Rural Life Museum. This fun-filled afternoon is for patrons aged 21 years and older. Wingamania – April 21, 2018 The gorgeous outdoor space at Tin Roof Brewing Company will host Wingamania, a new food festival featuring, you guessed it, wings! This foodie event is brought to you by the same genius minds behind the Mac and Cheese Fest, Brunch Fest and more –Geaux Rouge Productions. F O r C ULTU r E J UNK i ES Ebb & Flow Festival – April 7-8, 2018 Celebrate the capital region's cultural, economic and ecological connection to the Mississippi River and all things that Ebb and Flow! This year, the Mississippi River meets the Amazon River in Baton Rouge as this 2-day festival connects our culture with the culture and traditions of Brazil and the great Amazon River. The Louisiana i nternational Film Festival – April 19-22, 2018 Perkins Rowe will once again host the annual Louisiana International Film Festival, premiering national and international movies and other talented works in related fields. Soak up the good weather, good times and good company in Baton Rouge this spring at any of these annual festivals.
